The Regal Dumfries is a traditional single screen cinema operated and managed by a small team who are as passionate about cinema as they are about providing great customer experiences.  We aim to show a wide selection or popular films to entertain the local community, wither it be catering to young families on a Saturday morning, providing an opportunity for our older generation to gather for a picture and a chat midweek, or just somewhere for mates or couples to get together for the age-old shared experience of big screen entertainment.  We are proud to be serving Dumfries and the surrounding areas, and to call Dumfries our home.

 

 

267 Seats (171 Standard Seats & 96 Sofas & Armchairs) N.B. the Cinema will initially have a reduced seating capacity of 171 whilst we await the delivery of our new Sofa seating, therefore we recommend advanced booking to avoid disappointment.

·         Watchword System (Providing subtitles for all films, but only to those in the audience who require them) we are proud to be one of only 11 cinemas offering this state-of-the-art system.

 

 

It is with great regret that we must inform our customers, the Regal Cinema in Dumfries is currently inaccessible to wheelchair users, this is due to the auditorium, toilets and sales counter all being accessible only via stairs.  This is a situation we hope to remedy in the future, however, until we have been able to install the appropriate access, we recommend that wheelchair users can access big screen entertainment at the Robert Burns Film Theatre in Dumfries, and the Lonsdale Cinema in Annan.  Pre booking with our friends at these other local Cinemas is recommended, as space can be limited, especially during busy periods.
